WHO WE ARE

Gary Baum is licensed by The North Carolina Home Inspector Licensing Board (NCHILB), a member of the North Carolina Licensed Home Inspectors Association (NCLHIA) and Inspector Nation. He trained at the Home Inspector Training Center.

 

Gary's comprehensive inspecting style and ease of communicating with clients in person and written form come from a diverse professional and personal background.

  • Over twenty-five years as a contractor, custom woodworker and inspector has provided the base of being detailed and thorough

  • Teaching carpentry classes, boat-building workshops and community garden programs influences his ability to speak to people who may not have a technical background

  • His education in architecture and urban planning has fueled his lifelong passion and interest in how building systems work

When not inspecting, Gary enjoys teaching kids via a school farm project, raising chickens and spending time with his family.

Gary has received extensive training in the state of North Carolina and carries both General Liability Insurance as well as Errors and Omissions Insurance (E and O Insurance). He has been trained in the best methods and follows the mandated North Carolina Standards of Practice (NCSOP). License number: 3957
